Sport to help you focus

If you’re depressed and can’t get out of bed it might help you if you start to take an interest in sport. It’s very relaxing watching sport on tv because you don’t need to concentrate on it as you might do watching a film. Sometimes intrusive thoughts make it hard for you to concentrate on something other than your own thoughts. Sport can help this. Here’s what’s on this summer:


French open tennis -  20th May


Euro football - 14th June


Tour de France - 29th June


Wimbledon tennis - 1st July 2024


Olympic Games - 26th July


Paralympic Games - 28th august




If you have Sky tv you are in luck as you can watch Eurosport. They will cover pretty much everything.




If you don’t have Sky, subscribe to Discovery + (www.discoveryplus.com) on your tv.


Some will be covered by the BBC.
